Before the Spring Festival, the Foundation, in cooperation with the Private banking Department of the IC Bank of China, donated 100,000 surgical masks for adults, 100,000 surgical masks for children and 10,000 antigens to Jinyang County of Liangshan Prefecture and Tongjiang County of Bazhong City.

1.Building A Dream, Helping Students One-on-One

The project team, together with local volunteers, paid a return visit to students in Yongchuan district, Chongqing. The volunteers held a heart-to heart talk with the children and learned about their recent study and life. Before the New Year , the volunteers sent blessings to the children and encouraged them to study hard.


2.Sponsorship Kits for the Children in Distress

The project team paid a telephone interview to some children and learned about their online classes at home and their family conditions. They told them not to catch cold and take care of themselves.

3.College Dreams of Students in Difficulty

The project team gave grants to 31 resisted students in Nanchong and Meishan, Sichuan Province. The teachers of the school paid home visits to the students at the weekend to have an in-depth understanding of their study and living conditions. Students always try to do some housework to reduce burden for their families. Teachers remind them to pay attention to keep warm and keep healthy.


4. Financial Aid Program for Students in Distress

The project team commissioned local volunteers to visit the primary school of Jinhe Town in Leshan City. We learned that there are 123 students in the school, including 31 left-behind students. The volunteers collected information about some of the children's families and studies, and recorded the information. In the next step, the project team will comprehensively analyze and judge the information collected by the volunteers.


5.Equip the village schools with the smart classrooms

The project team held an online meeting with the principals of schools in Dafang County, Guizhou City, the project application area. At the meeting, the project team further learned the difficulties in the development of formalization . The project team also communicated with the teachers about the process and requirements of the project in detail, and got positive responses and support from the teachers. In the next step, the project team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of Dafang County.

1. Sanitary Water for Children in Mountains

The project team and volunteers visited Niss Boarding Primary School in Xiangcheng County, and inspected the drinking water facilities of the school. We learned that the school was located in a plateau area and the students' daily drinking water was heated by an old boiler, whose service life was approaching. The school need a new drinking equipment to improve students' daily drinking water.


2.Cleaning Kits for Dream Building Children

The project team distributed 40 cleaning kits to Qingde boarding primary schools in rural Cheng County. The teacher said that some students lack the companionship of their parents and family hygiene education. The school carries out cleaning and hygiene courses every semester. The daily funds are mostly used for teaching, and there is not enough money for cleaning supplies.


2. Popularization of Mental health in schools

The project team carried out kinds of activities for students in the psychological activity room, which not only enriched their extracurricular life, but also relieved their nervous mood during the epidemic. Students can read mental health manuals in the activity room for mental knowledge. After the development of various activities, the students have relaxed a lot physically and mentally, and could meet the learning challenges in a fuller state of mind.

On January 12, the project team visited the Youth Science and Technology Farm in Fangshan Village, Nanjiang County, Bazhong City, inspecting the situation of the farm, and holding a discussion with heads of township departments about the farm industrial road, water irrigation system, fertilizer situation and freezing warehouse construction. Besides we also checked the equipment donated by Hikvision as insect situation monitoring, temperature and humidity monitoring, insect control lamp, etc., and made plans and preparations for subsequent installation.

In January, the project team discussed with the project lecturer members the work plan of the project in 2023 and the timeline of the implementation. At the same time, the project team also discussed various ways of fundraising and how to find more caring businesses to participate in the project. At present, the project team has posted the Alipay charity fundraising leaflets of this project in the stores of charity merchants in Shenzhen, Chengdu and other places.

In order to carry out the next camp meeting , volunteers arranged the dinner plates, clothes, daily necessities and other materials needed for the camp meeting. The project team counted the type and quantity of the remaining materials of the previous activity, checked the quantity and validity period of the standby drugs, and then checked the missing quantity and variety against the material list to make preparations for the next step of material procurement.

In early January, the project team held a project summary meeting on the current fundraising situation of the project, volunteer recruitment and training, project publicity, intended school connection, personnel division, etc., reflecting on the advantages and disadvantages of the project implementation, actively identifying problems, and laying a solid foundation for the future implementation of the project. In the next step, the project will continue to put fundraising on top of the priority and start to pay visits to schools.

The resident psychology teacher led the students to carry out a group activity themed "Cooperation and innovation". The students played the House of Cards game in groups and discussed how to make the house tall and stable with the limited number of cards. The students shared their experience of the game, and the teacher explained the necessity and importance of cooperation and innovation. Students all expressed that it was necessary to communicate with each other.

At the beginning of the Lunar New Year, the project team distributed 38 sets of technology kits to children in Shambhala village, so that children in remote mountainous areas could also have a chance to use scientific experiments and explore the mysteries of science. The teacher told us that the technology bag was the best gift for the children in the New Year, and we will pass on the love and do a good job in teaching.

3.Let Village Kids Have a Painting Dream

The project team went to Xingyan School, Shihai Town, Xingwen County, to learn about the school's development of painting supplies and courses. As far as we know, the school has sufficient painting supplies at present, and the school is actively organizing painting courses for interested children to cultivate their interest in painting. Next, the project team will continue to visit and select schools that meet the requirements of the project.


4.Keep guard of the dreams of the left-behind children

In order to publicize the project, the team organized the community volunteers to carry out the project promotion activities in the residents' settlement, the entrance to the community and other places. The present situation of left-behind children in mountainous areas is explained from the perspective of children, calling for more people to pay attention to left-behind children. In the next step, the project team will continue to publicize the project through more activities and actively raise funds for the left-behind children.


5.The Learning Dream on the Desk

On January 31, a group of local volunteers visited the Central Primary School in Wapumo Township, Yuexi County. The school have not yet opened, and the teachers had returned to school and were preparing for the teaching work of the new semester. Relevant courses will be carried out according to the teaching plan.

The teacher on duty told us that the school playground was open to the surrounding villages during the winter vacation so that students and villagers could play balls on the playground. Teachers are also returning to the school to prepare for the teaching work of the new school and will carry out teaching in an orderly manner after the opening of the school.

1.Caring for the elderly left behind in rural areas

The project team, together with local volunteers, visited some poor elderly people in Pingchang, Bazhong City with rice, oil and condolence money. The volunteers accompanied the elder to chat and listen to them for their stories. The elderly people were happy to have someone to listen to and accompany them. The volunteers also told the elderly to keep warm in winter.


2.Caring for the Disabled People in Distress

Together with local volunteers, the project team made a return visit to some of the disabled people, learning about their physical conditions on the spot, and collected their needs. The project team also sent living supplies to the disabled people for New Year condolences, making the recipients feel warm and relieving part of their life pressure.


3.Helping Sanitation Workers One-on-One

In early January, the project team checked the personal account information of 35 subsidized sanitation workers in Bazhong and Jianyang City , after communicating with the bank staff, we successfully carried out the fund disbursement, hoping that the fund could help improve the personal life of sanitation workers before the New Year. In the New Year, we wish them good health and all the best.


4.Caring Action for Disabled People

The project team commissioned local volunteers from Guyuan, Ningxia to visit some disabled people. The volunteers learned about the physical conditions and living conditions of the disabled, and also helped them clean their homes and sent them life supplies. The assisted people all felt the love for them.


5.Healthy lunch for the elderly

The project team visited 15 lonely, disabled elderly people. After telephoning with the elderly in advance, the team, together with the public dietitians and volunteers visited their homes and learned about the elder's health and living conditions on the spot. They told the elderly to improve their physical condition through healthy diet.

In January the Foundation and its partners carried out a total of 8 visits and investigations and 6 public welfare activities by means of online interaction and offline cooperation. They visited and offered condolences to the disabled, the elderly in need, students in need, left-behind children and other vulnerable groups in society, collected the needs of the service groups, and constantly improved the public welfare projects.
